  • More than meets thee eye

I admit it's not just Lynch Park but the area between 21st & Martha AND 21st & Castelar Streets. Also the old racket bridge on 24th street between old Kitty Clover and area off bridge to north a ways. As a child, we used to climb up dirt hill near baseball diamond where a cave appeared out of no where. I sensed somebody inside everytime. We didn't know any better as children. I lived in a house structure on 21st street between Martha and Castelar Streets. One point, there was a wrap around porch but fell down in early 1990s. My mother and I lived upstairs on 3rd floor and cousin lived on 2nd floor. One time, they were in apt 2 and saw a figure walk by huge windows and assumed it was me. Actually, I walked by 20 minutes. My cousin said she swore a figure seen out of corner of her eye late at night in kitchen as she watched tv. After my cousin move out of apt 2, I moved in. For those two years I experienced something I couldn't explain. I'd wake up almost nightly and carry on conversation with doneone in darkened shadows. Almost like they were using my body communicating with whoever. After I moved out, I visit my mother and stayed in empty apartment. I woke up as someone standing over me. I yelled loudly and my mother ran down those stairs like her pants on fire. This building built in 1885 as other homes built in 1930s. Structure stands out. My mother died there in june 2013. I cleaned out her apartment with friend. Strange occurrences as a roll of plastic bags on flat surface began to unroll with invisible hands. How I knew this happened due to a strange sound like someone playing with bubble wrap then pop it. I realized what happening. At that second, I look into old space as kitchen and saw most amazing cat with yellow and green eyes staring at me. I yelled and cat disappear from top of cupboard. The sink and counter were metal model from 1930s. if cat jumped, I would have heard noise from impact... I research the area daring back to 1880s through 1930s using census. There was identified man as WATCHMEN living in this direct area over 30 years. Where this home built and direct area was cornfields everywhere. Hmmm! Two other incidences pertaining to old kitty Clover bridge. I worked in old market as teen and visit cousins at house afterwards late on foot. One time walk from 29th/poppleton towards bridge, a man come towards me dressed as jack Nicholson Joker character. I had earphones on. I turned around after counting to 10. He was gone like he never existed. Another time around 3am, on the bridge walking south towards kitty Clover. There used to be wooded area with trees before they tore down bridge. As I walking past trees, I heard rustling and hurried past quickly. I turned around and saw this hairy male creature walking on bridge to north end. He resembled chewbacca.
