Have you been to School District 13 Haunted Attraction? Then share photos of your experience!

District 13 is western Nebraska’s #1 haunted attraction featuring three haunts, great food, and fun activities for all ages! School District 13 has three haunted attractions:

Prom Night Massacre at the Community Hall
Mr. Wiggle’s Wood Shop
Dr. Doom’s Science Room

Experience the bone chilling horror of prom night at the District 13 school. This indoor haunted attraction is appropriate for ages 10 and up. The Prom Night Massacre is located at the Community Hall on State Street. Patrons can ride the Hay Rack Ride or the Train to the Community Hall.

Dr. Doom's Science Room is not your typical high school science class. Pass through the corridors that lead to Dr. Doom’s grim experiments, but don’t linger too long! Appropriate for ages 10 and up.

Visit Mr. Wiggle’s wood shop full of students working hard at unspeakably heinous projects. Come see what they’ve built this semester, if you dare! For ages 10 and up.

On Friday we make the haunts and activities more kid friendly for families with young children! Young children are provided with glow sticks (magic wands), and, when waved at a monster inside of one of the haunted attractions, the monster will provide a treat instead of a scare. If your group doesn’t have a magic wand, well… the monsters will do whatever they feel like doing and you’re on your own.

After you park your car in the designated parking area, the Hay Rack Ride or the Train Ride will take you to the various haunted attractions and other activities. Email Haunt Owner

  • Email Verified Unique Theme

The theme was unique and event was in an old rundown building. Deserted school in the background with ample support from the actors, special effects and props did get us on our edges. There were several rooms to explore which took us a good one hour. Each room was unique in its own way. The scenes were inventive and followed a storyline. This got us hooked with whole thing and got us even more scarier. Good going. Will be back.

  • Email Verified Total Fun

It was as if the whole town was haunted. There are two haunts in the old school building, an outdoor haunt, and a haunt at the old community hall building. Both has got scares that would freak you out. The ghouls and zombies from the massacre made my GF scream more than twice. You got to ride the haunt bus to reach each of the haunts. The ride was total fun. Actors costumes and makeup were scary to say the least. Ticket prices were reasonable as well. I recommend this place.

  • Email Verified Amazing Place

Amazing place to spend a weekend. The entire place has freaking something unique and there were monsters and zombies doing the rounds along the corners. There were two buildings and each had a different theme story and we really enjoyed both of them. The actors were skilled and faired well in scaring us. Considering a local community support event, the organizers had done well and I’m very excited to visit them again.

  • Joyful Experience

A very well thought out trail themed around an old school. The building was dilapidated and a deserted surrounding made this haunt even more eerie. Actors were amazing and they like their job. The characters were all enacted really well. It was a very joyful experience but still scary. Haunts were mainly thrilling as we did not know from where the scares pops up. It was unpredictable. Loved it. Will come back soon.

  • Electrifying Ambiance

Awesome place to experience a bunch of attractions. Loved the bus ride to travel from one attraction to other. Electrifying ambiance as the entire town is haunted. All haunted attractions were awesome, especially the doom’s science room was terrifying and bolsters on the creepy equipment’s and decorations on the wall. All actors were great and did a fantastic task in scaring all of us. This is truly an exceptional attraction and we loved to visit it again next year too!!

  • Memorable Experience

I and my friends visited School District 23 during Halloween and we had a great time there. The zombies will try to reach you..my friend was even chased couple of times by the scary characters. There is lots of open space and it suits claustrophobic people. The makeup and costumes were scary. The haunt bus and the flashing lights inside made it a memorable ride. I will visit again with my wife and kids.

  • Email Verified Never Coming Back

Too many crazy kids running around screaming earful is not my idea of getting scared. The venue was surely eerie but the scenes were not. There were too many kids used as actors and they were quite playful in the way they presented themselves. They could have used a bit of fog and strobe. Not a great effort. My last time.

  • Family Friendly Horror

We had an awesome time at School district 13. Tons of scares and vivid display of performance by actors draped in the costume of monsters. It’s not a very scary attraction, but a great place for family hang out. My kids enjoyed the small haunted forest area and it was so soothing experience. Lot of vendors selling snacks and beverages were available there. Overall, a perfect place for family to get a taste of mild horror and entertainment!

  • Email Verified A Lot to Improve

A lot of scope of improvement I could see here. They could certainly increase the number of actors. There were lots of empty rooms in the haunts where we just walked up and down. This could be filled with scenes. We got mixed up with the group that went before us and group after caught up with us. It was totally disorganized from start to finish. Should be more well paced out which will let us enjoy the scare.

  • Email Verified Scary

Great scares and props, professional actors and reasonable prices. It had some nice scares that I have not seen elsewhere. I was chased by couple of zombies and I had to run to save my ass. The food and drinks were awesome too. Check it out if you are looking for some scary fun this Halloween.

  • Freakin' Awesome - The whole town is haunted!

The entire town has something happening... there were zombies and other characters dressed up and roaming around. The haunted houses were super cool. I loved the idea that I could spend the whole night there... we ate food, rode a train ride too. My whole family was entertained because they even had a "kid friendly" version of the haunted forest. We went there on Halloween night and it seemed like nearly every house in town had their porch light on providing treats to the kids too. Very cool. Worth the trip.
