I was finishing an endorsement in the mid 80’s. They rented extra basement rooms then very reasonably. A girl named Mary was the only full time student down there. I cooked in the kitchen but hung mainly in my room, being warned that Mary roamed in the late evenings and was hard to get away from. The basement was all but abandoned, yet there were sounds all the time…doors, chairs, etc. it was creepy, but I got lots of work done and never answered knocks at my door!

I stayed in this dorm. No one hung out in the basement even though there was a nice Commons area. One day I was down there with friends, and we all felt watched. Then heard very loud banging noises from the corners. No one else was down there. Very creepy.
