A female apparition wearing white is said to wander around the bluff's base at around midnight during the end of July or beginning of August.

Summer of 2019 my Bf and I decided to go
on a little cruise and have a late night bite on the old oregon trail by the scotts bluff sign. We stayed in the car an parked to the side where out of the no where I heard gun shots very soft though, soon after my man and I just felt really weird as if someone else was near or watching us. It was only us out there, so we just drove away... later I Hoped online to see what places in bluffs could be haunted sites and read that this place (the old oregon trail) after midnight hours people have seen an apparition of aq woman in white... yeah I got creepy feeling all over again after i read that. Not going back after midnight.
