White House Apartments

This three-story Italianate Victorin building is assumed to have been built around the turn of the century. It was once a hospital before it was remodeled into apartments and is believed to be haunted by former patients who died here. Witnesses have claimed to see a woman's apparition wearing a white gown who appears in the lobby or floating through the halls. Other apparitions have also been spotted here out of the corners of witnesses' eyes.

I use to live there and I heard plenty of stories and they were all garbage. When I first move in there I lived on the third floor and I never experienced anything unusual . About a year later I moved down to the first floor and I would always hear this tapping in the hall by my apartment at 2 AM. I could set my watch by it. I thought maybe the mangers were banging on the pipe to loosen ice, but this was mid summer. So I was talking to the 2 of the managers one day and told the I keep erring this tapping in the hallway they looked at each other but didn't say anything to me. I would look in the hallway each time I heard the tapping and there would nobody there. So one night a sat right by my door and I herd the tapping I looked out nobody was, but the tapping continued and was getting closer and closer. It finally stopped right In front of me paused and then it walked past me.
